IV is an organization for members from ALL countries. Things like the Nuclear deal and the beer bottles are NOT going to help anyone get their green cards quicker. If you want to discuss these issues, please use websites like Rediff or Times Of India or Mid-Day to post items on there.

I used AC21 twice. Both times I informed USCIS, EVL contained exact job description but different title. Did not have any AC21 related RFE and today got 'CP ordered email'. :) good luck to all!

Did you send the EVL to USCIS yourself or did your lawyer take care of it? Is there are specific process, document format to follow? Congrats one and all who got approved seems to be a lot of progress in the Eb-2 arena. I heard of 15 approvals of EB-2 PD03 (Jan-Apr) in my company itsef

If something your are not agree or disagree that's fine but there is now way to go this far.
Its you who might have an attitude problem. You cannot take constructive criticism that was directed at our behavior in general. I was just pointing out how members in general fall prey to sensationalism and expect IV to answer that sensationalism. Get real dude! There was no personal attack intended or explicit towards any one in my post. I added facts and answered why there was NO spill over as the attorney is telling. You go back to your posts and check what you said. Do a bit of introspection before you resort to mudslinging. Adding facts helps members. Resorting to personal attacks on members such as desi3933 who has been extremely logical and rational in response with real data hurts the whole discussion. we need folks such as desi3933 here. No where he vented any frustration. Take your garbage and frustration some where else.

When prominent business houses like Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Oracle and organizations like AILA seem powerless when it comes to influencing senators, lawmakers and government organizations like USCIS and DOS, what can IV team do to change the policies. Sorry I did not mean to criticize, but that's the truth, unfortunately!

Please dont talk without knowing the truth.
I joined the company only for green card, I was a consultant for them before I became full time. They told me this 'We will sponsor green card, will you become full time' I said if you do green card I will join. But they did not keep their promise. Thatis give and take. They already gained from their investment, Thats y they dont want to sponsor anymore. They do green card for what we do for 6 years not for sticking with them for 20+ years.
if I was in my company shoes , I would not take the documents, drag for 2.5 years and say 'We found candidates' . I would have either said in 6 months sorry we cant do or file green card.One need to have honesty. If I am that smart likemy employer I would ve started a company already and firing H1 guys left n right
If you only joined the company for a green card, then what were you doing all these years when your employer kept your documents and did not file. Why didn't you quit the job....If not more, you are to be equally blamed for the situation you are currently in....I understand your frustration, take a deep breath and move on.....Good luck....

i can drive my minivan from zip code 32771 (orlando area). so 6 seats are vacant.

nojoke dont get emotional. we have no bone to pick with either obama or mcccain. We already called the local lawmakers. This online petition can have two columns, one for people who are suffering because of this per country quota and other for people who support the idea (Friends/relatives/coworkers). We can start the petition and we may generate 100K signatures.
