You are correct, EB 3 I has less than 3k visas available. I have confirmed the number on Greg Siskinds blog. There is minor problem with BharatPremi's analysis. EB3 I's... we really need to do something about recapture. There will be no spillover available for EB3-I till 2012.

If there are 140K visas then EB3 category will get 140,000%28.7 = 40180
and of these 40180 EB3 India will get just 40180%7= 2812
Folks, only 2812 Visas for EB3 India and EB3 is not going to get any spillover this year!!

I sent emails to Ombudsman, NSC and SCO. Did not contact congressman. Opned SR's for me and my wife. Twice took Infopass, they have been pre-adjudicated, that's all.
All I got till now from USCIS is standard scripted emails.

In effort to make legislators and people aware of legal immigration issues, we should take help of media.This would be most effective.
Hiring a lobbying firm to pursue our issues with legislators is a good idea but it should be accompanied with media awareness as well.This is money intensive project and it will take time to reach its target of 100k.We need some other channel of awareness open as well and we need to do that soon so that it has some effect on Feb bills.
People are not aware that we are going thru such long waits to get immigrate legally.This issue needs to be highlighted.

There is vested interest by the Govt and Banks to lend because that's the only way money is created. That explains constant rate cut cycle and stimulating artificial growth. The entire monetary system is hijacked by banks. The debt to ordinary people drives the economy and people pay that debt and interest a good part of their life. Thus collapse of big banks could lead to eventual meltdown of the system, and no wonder govt keeps bailing them out.
In the end personal level frugal living and debt free people are constantly punished by taxing interest like ordinary income and no tax breaks. On the other hand big over leveraged spenders are rewarded with big tax breaks. Why ? Because it allows the well-oiled machinery to work.
In last 10-12 months, this overworked (overstretched) machinery broke down because the debt (and interest) is no longer paid back. Banking system of the entire countries start to fail (Iceland, Latvia, Hungry...). What happens next is anybody's guess, but we will be collateral damage, mine and your savings will be eroded by diminished buying power due to currency printed to bail out the fundamentally flawed system.
The sharp decline in moral and ethics is a direct result of entitlement mentality and welfare society. People feel that they deserve everything without having to pay it back and everyone who is better off must be evil. They forget that simple hardworking people can be rich by simply living debt free and with in the means.
Finally the money from debt driven system might survive but not without huge decline in standard of living, a massive recession and permanent shift away from material possession as a central theme of life.
It would have been ideal if they mandated 1:5 ratio. Unfortunately, with lax lending standards and unregulated banking, people made almost zero down payment (instead of the normal 20%) and bought into loans they couldn't afford in the first place.
I would still blame the borrower 95% for all the mess.

We have suspended the work for July 485 filing development pending the clarification of the rumor next week. Please bear with us in this confusing and difficult time.
This is so ridiculous....these OH Law Firm lawyers have to be kidding! Who postpones/suspends work based on rumors? I would get fired from my job if I stopped coding just because there was a rumor that the release date was being postponed!!!!

Let us talk about the "skills" introduced by H1/L1/offshore companies
a) One guy takes the phone interview for 15 other guys with "skills" they preted to have
b) Lying on the resume with "skills" that you don't have, so that you can learn the "skill" at the expense of the client
c) "Skill" in Violating B1 visa laws and sending people on B1 to do actual work to client
d) "Skill" in violating L1 law which is used to drive down the wages by 20-30%
e) "Skill" demonstrated by indian offshorers to enter into a contract with a large corporation where they will provide warm bodies in exchange for a very low billing rate. Client wouldn't have any ability to interview the incoming cosultant, which means the offshorer employee is learning at the expense of the foolish client. Then that will be touted as "savings".
f) "Skill" of fly-by-night operators to shave off 70% of the billing rate through a 6-level pyramid of contracting companies

And let me guess, you are someone who hates Indians, isnt it, so why dont you spend some time upgrading your skills , will help you in your own personal skills and career? Rather than waste time on this board.

As far as my knowledge goes, there is no streamline email for NSC. We did send emails to NSCSfollowup and SCOPPSCAT .. and got standard script response for both.
